It's made with strong, durable gold zinc plated metal(9 and 11 gauge wire; 1 1/2 inch spacing). The edges are contoured to 90 degreesfor a secure fit. The Wire Mesh Top is effective in keeping larger debris out ofthe exercise pen, but serves its best purpose in keeping your pet in theexercise pen, while also keeping intruders out of the exercise pen. The WireMesh Top is secured to the exercise pen with included hardware (8 metal boltsnaps).
