I've been a fan of Tennis for years. Ever since Cape Dory came out I've been enamoured with Alaina's voice and Patrick's very cool guitar riffs. I never thought that I'd have the opportunity to work with the band and then the opportunity came up this year. Small Sounds came out of a bunch of recording with Richard Swift and when I first heard Mean Streets', I was completely blown away. I spent the weekend dancing around my apartment to this new music. So wide, so cool, serene and beautiful. It's such a substantial EP and is the prelude to a great LP to come in 2014, watch this space.
