Starting In August 2013 all Moen Kitchen Faucets will be transitioning to a 1.5gpm (Gallon Per Minute) Flow Rate. Some federal and local legislation mandate all kitchen faucets flow at or below 1.8gpm, with the voluntary section of this legislation asking for kitchen faucet flow rates at or below 1.5gpm. Once all current inventory has been depleted ALL Moen Kitchen Faucets will have the 1.5gpm instead of the current 2.0gpm Flow rates. If these flow rates are an issue, the Moen 141025 O-Ring Kit is the solution. This O-Ring Kit will allow a less restricted flow of your water giving you a much higher flow rate of 2.2gpm.
