We are excited to introduce you to a completely new way to label your home canning jars. Our heat shrink labels offer both a practical and stylish approach to labeling that has never been available before. If you've ever imagined having your jars clearly labeled in a clean, classic way without the mess of sticky glue, then our labels are for you. Or, if you've ever had trouble reading handwritten information on a jar lid, then look no further because our labels solve that problem, as well.
The labels are made from PET, a #1 recyclable plastic (and we humbly encourage recycling). We use a water-soluble ink on the labels which is free of the dangerous chemicals found in non-water soluble inks. They are also manufactured and distributed within the United States with a patent pending.
We have four great designs to offer you, each a little different to reach the tastes of nearly everyone. All of the designs have a stylish front panel on which to label the contents of your jar. They also all have a back panel to mark all of the pertinent information you need to know when it comes to eating your goods.
Also, using the labels is incredibly easy and intuitive. Have you ever shrunk a plastic sleeve onto an egg from an Easter Egg kit? If so, you've got the basic idea of how our labels work.
Our labels fit nearly all standard half-pint Ball, Kerr, and Mason brand jars. However, there are a few exceptions which our labels do not fit. Some examples of those are: incredibly old non-standard jars, wide-mouth half-pint jars, spherical half-pint jars, and other very specialized jars. There may be others, but after quite a lot of searching, these are the exceptions we've found. Other than these few mentioned items, our labels are compatible with all other half-pint canning jars we've found. The half-pint labels also work for Ball brand freezer jam containers.
