The FESTOOLe RO 90 Rotex Sander delivers multiple performance settings to maximize versatility on the job. Its head performs rotary, orbital and random orbital motions. The Festool sander uses 3.5-inch pads to reach tight spaces, and it does not require a tool to switch from one pad to another. It works with both rounded and delta-shaped pads. This tool features an edge protector to mitigate bumps on nearby surfaces. It creates a 1/8-inch stroke and includes two different speed settings. The tool reaches speeds from 260 - 520 RPM in rotary motion. In random orbital mode, the speeds range from 3,500 to 7,000 RPM. This sander tool weighs about 3.3 pounds. It comes with a 13-foot power cord. With several movement settings and speed ranges, this sander professionally addresses all sorts of sanding and polishing jobs.
