This Super Feeder features a dishwasher-safe bowl made with a high-grade kitchenware material known as "SAN" by Kibisan and specially designed to spread kibbles for better access to your pets. It also features a supplied external digital timer which can provide for up to 8 feed cycles per day. The metal black powder coat hardware attaches the feeder to a compact heavy-duty black ABS base and tower. The Super Feeder could also be used with a home automation system and/or web based system. It is compact and holds 4 and 3/4 cups of food (slightly over a quart by volume and can fit under a coffee table). Its capacity can be increased later with extra stackable 2-cup clear extensions or a 1.5 gallon hopper (24 cups--14x12x3 inches) available from Super-Feed. If you have a really aggressive locksmith cat, the installed chute cover (protective device) will help prevent intrusion! 1/4 inch spherical/square kibbles are recommended for best performance and guaranteed to work. Other food will work equally well by trial and error. You could trigger multiple feeders at a time with one timer using a power strip or dual outlet timer! It is extremely dependable, versatile, easy to operate. It needs minor assembly with only a screwdriver (supplied). Proudly made in USA!
