Product Description
The daisy-like feverfew was once believed to have been used to save the life of someone who had fallen from the Parthenon, the temp of the goddess Athena on the Acropolis in Athens, hence its scientific name parthenium. NOTE: Avoid feverfew if you are allergic to ragweed, daisies, chamomile, chrysanthemums, or yarrow. Not to be used while pregnant. In magick, feverfew is ruled by Venus and Water, although it is generally considered a masculine herb. I can be used in preventative health spells - such as sachets to protect you from catching a cold. In ancient practices it was also said to protect against freak accidents. The male energies in this herb manifests through its protection abilities while the energies of the moon tend to affect health related matters. This would also be an excellent herb to use in rituals to banish disease or remove obstacles to a speedy recovery.
