Dyneema fiber, also known as UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) fiber, offers greater cut protection than leather, greater abrasion resistance than aramid fibers, and greater strength than steel. Ansell's knitted variable stitch design (KVSD) provides a barehanded feeling and breathability. The cuff has a slip wrist design, an adjustable wrist closure for comfort, and an ID nameplate on inner cuff for personal identification. This glove meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) 105-2005 performance rating standards for Level 2 cut resistance.
