Intertape Legend Reinforced Gummed Paper Tape is a water-activated reinforced tape designed to provide consistent performance in carton sealing applications where durability, extra strength and reliability are required. It has extra strong fiberglass yarns which are bonded between the high tensile strength sheets for an extra margin of strength. Recommended using on light and average weight cartons up to 25 pounds. Gummed Paper Tape is used for two strip sealing cartons top & bottom. Water-activated reinforced tapes bond instantly to both non-recycled and recycled fiber (corrugated carton, paper, etc.) surfaces and therefore, generate an immediate destructive bond resulting in a tamper evident package. Starch based adhesive absorbs dust and bonds securely to the carton. Sealing the seam also acts as a dust barrier. Not affected by extreme hot or cold temperatures. Non-cellulose materials can be removed during repulping and allow for easy recycling. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 70mm wide.
