The Nashua aluminum foil tape for waterproofing repair is 11-mil thick and has a butyl rubber adhesive to form an air-tight and water-resistant bond for indoor and outdoor sealing and restoration. It is suitable for a range of applications such as repairing leaking pipes and hoses, sealing cracks and seams in roof gutters, and repairing rips and gouges in damaged trailers, shipping containers, and metal buildings. The tape conforms well to irregular surfaces and can be painted to match existing structures. It resists damage from UV exposure, is non-staining, and withstands temperatures from 40 to 200 degrees F. It has a peel-off liner, which protects the adhesive from exposure to air until ready for use. Tensile strength is 20 lb. per inch. The tape meets Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 723 specifications.
