We had a SAS controller failure at 9:30pm (Monday) that resulted in a database crash. It goes to show you can only plan for so much - the database runs on raid 10 with SSDs.
It took us till 6:30am (Tuesday) to go through the hardware and verify functionality. The resulting filesystem and database checks ate up the majority of the time. Site is back up and running at 100%. |
