Radiant GUARD Xtreme metalized radiant barrier is an INDUSTRIALIZED double-sided highly reflective radiant barrier that blocks 95% of the radiant heat transfer in the summer and winter. Xtreme radiant barrier is 6 millimeters in thickness for INDUSTRIALIZED puncture and tear resistance and is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to tear while still easily cut with utility scissors. This radiant barrier PASSES the current required ASTM fire test (ASTM E84 using the E2599 mounting method) for building materials with a perfect flame spread of ZERO and exceeds the required ASTM Water Vapor Permeability rating for a breathable building product. This breathable Xtreme metalized radiant barrier is ideal for new and retrofit installation applications where stapling or durability is required. Ideal for attic floors, attic rafters, storage sheds, pole barns, metal buildings, and as a housewrap. It is lightweight and easy to install and requires no further maintenance.
