His first LP for Warners was Home Is In My Head which featured guitarist Bryn Haworth - known for his playing on John Cale's Fear album and various Ian Matthews recordings. First released in 1971, the album's slower tracks were particularly impressive - , and - although the style and the sound remained much as it had been on his Apple debut solo LP. It proved Lomax could produce an record without the help of the star-studded backing band.
