Fitting LT-45 into chamber
The LT-45 Laser Trainer Cartridge is designed to fit snugly into the chamber of your firearm and may require force to insert. We recommend making certain the chamber is clean as even a small amount of residue can make installing the laser difficult. You may lubricate the o-rings using a VERY SMALL amount of petroleum jelly or gun oil to assist in seating the laser into your chamber. Applying a small amount of petroleum jelly based product will also aid in a longer service life. Do not be afraid of damaging or the laser. The LT-45 cartridge is made of brass- a softer metal, and designed not to damage your firearm. If at any point you feel you may damage the firearm STOP. Centering LT-45 in chamber
Please note, residue in the chamber can affect the units ability to self-calibrate; please make certain the firearms chamber is clean. If the issue persists, please check the two black orings on the body of the laser for any flat spots or signs of damage. These orings help center the unit in the chamber properly.
