The banana leaf base design, made of Arthur Court's signature premium aluminum alloy, creates a well for the 9 inch frosted glass shallow bowl to sit, displaying your favorite fruit. The handle attaches to the base on one side and curves upward toward a hook to hold bananas while they ripen naturally. A darling family of monkeys climb upward on the handle, seemingly to investigate how the ripening process is coming along. After all, monkeys should know that, unlike most other fruits, the banana actually develops better flavor when picked green and ripened off the bush.
