One of the longest running franchises in video game history, Madden NFL has become a national phenomenon. Despite a nearly two decade career, Madden NFL 08 still has the impact of a 300-pound lineman. More realistic gameplay includes players making one-handed catches, hurdles, gang tackles, and sideline catches and mid-air collisions and choosing whether to hit high or low. Branching animation also allows you to execute a new maneuver without being locked into the previous move. The new fatigue system keeps quarterbacks from being able to scramble behind the line on every play as well as affecting the performance of cold-weather teams when they are playing in hot weather during the early part of the season. The graphics and animation are truly next-gen as players with high ratings will perform better.
