This Bluetooth headset features high-quality stereo sound for use as an A2DP audio headset. The softly padded earpieces are held in place with a behind the neck style band, which is very flexible, yet holds in place without pinching your head or ears. A microphone hole in the back of the right earpiece picks up your voice, allowing you to use this as a hands-free device, as well as a stereo headset, making it perfect for video gaming with PCs or consoles, such as the PlayStation 3 or for making phone calls. The headset conforms to the Bluetooth 2.1 standard, which allows pairing without the use of passkeys or other codes. The power on/off button is on the bottom of the right earpiece, while the volume + and - buttons are on the top edge. The left earpiece features music player controls: a play/stop button on the bottom of the earpiece and forward/backward buttons on the top edge. The headset holds a generous charge, allowing 300 hours of standby time and up to 15 hours of talk time. The battery can be fully recharged in about 3 hours. The Bluetooth range is rated at 10 meters , but it can often maintain a quality connection to as much as twice that distance, through several walls. A 37 charging cable, with a proprietary connector on the headset and a USB A male connector on the other end, is included, allowing the battery to be charged from any USB power source.
