Product Description
The MAXX by Leapfrog PLA filament is a 750g spool of 1.75-mm diameter sunny yellow filament for use with fused-filament 3D printers (sold separately). Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biodegradeable, plant-based plastic that offers a smooth finish on printed parts and is commonly used as a support material because it dissolves in sodium hydroxide (sold separately). It can be used with a heated bed set to around 60 degrees C (140 degrees F) to prevent warping during the printing process and facilitate removal. This material absorbs moisture. The print temperature is around 210 degrees C (410 degrees F).Leapfrog manufactures 3D printers and accessories for commercial and educational use. Founded in 2012, the company is headquartered in Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands.
