It will not only show your weight, but also do a body analysis, calculating values such as body fat and body water, which influence your weight readings. Stay in the know, whether you are losing, gaining, or maintaining your weight. Weighing In This Weight Watchers scale by Conair will not only monitor weight, but also do a thorough bio-impedance analysis: for each user, it will show a body fat percentage, a body water percentage, a bone mass percentage, and the users body mass index. Up to 10 different user profiles can be entered into the scale, but it can also be used in guest mode, as a simple weight scale. In addition, this scale will track up to 5 weights for each user and use icons to help you interpret what the body analysis results mean (icons on the display show results as being high, low or on target). The WW66N has a large 1.5 inch display and a an extra-wide platform. Using Your Scale For best accuracy, place the scale on tile or hardwood floor, rather than uneven, flexible, or soft flooring (such as carpet). In order for the scale to give you your body analysis readings, it needs to know your height, age, and gender. Once you have set yourself up as a user (for more detailed instructions, see the user manual), and you stand on the scale in bare feet (thats important because otherwise the scale will not be able to do the bio-impedance analysis), make sure that your feet are touching the stainless steel electrodes. The scale will then give you your weight, your body fat percentage, your body water percentage, your BMI (Body mass index), and your bone mass. Monitor these over time to get a good picture of how you are progressing towards your goals. Note: The weight-only mode will give accurate body weight readings for all users. The body analysis mode will give accurate readings for most people, but it is not calibrated for body analysis measurements of the following groups: anyone under the age of 18 and pregnant women. WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A PACEMAKER OR OTHER INTERNAL MEDICAL DEVICE. Dont Overdo It A surefire way to get overly concerned with your goal is to weigh yourself too often. We generally recommend that you weigh yourself no more than once a week when youre dieting. That is the best way to prevent unnecessary concern with normal weight fluctuations, which are unrelated to your weight-loss efforts. Regardless of your weighing habits, its important that youre consistent. Weigh yourself at the same time of time of day, wearing the same clothes each time and try to balance your weight evenly on the scale each time.
