Powdered Pigments Powdered pigments have been an artist''''s staple for hundreds (or should we say thousands!) of years. We have literally searched the world over to find the best most brilliant powdered pigments available. Each of these pigments was selected for it''''s brilliance and ultra fine particle size. Each one is available in a 1oz jar. They are measured by weight; not by volume- so actual volume of each jar will vary depending on the color. We purchase these pigments in large drums and measure them out ourselves; so we are able to offer you the best price possible per ounce! These are perfect for making you own oils watercolors acrylics egg temperas pastels encaustics faux finishes... their uses are limited only to your imagination. Remember to use the utmost care when using powdered pigments. Gloves and face masks/respirators should always be used. Pigments require special safety labelling for the state of California; but we put cautionary labels on each jar regardless of what state it is being shipped to!
