Kugen reunites with Gyokuyo, a fellow fox deity, for the first time in centuries during Akagi High's Culture Festival. Though Kugen thought nothing of being sealed away, Gyokuyo swears revenge on the humans who would do such a thing. As the Takagami family tree's branches extend ever further, more and more creatures come after not only Toru, but Kugen as well!
