The wire is constructed of stranded copper conductor - tinned or plain. The PVC conductor insulation is according to UL standard 1581, class 43, and CSA-C22.2 and contains heat and damp resistant properties. Stranded copper wire is used for the internal wiring of switchboards, electrical equipment (e.g. radio or televisions, other household items, and control desks). It is also used in connecting wires in machines laid in protective tubes and flexible pipes. The wire is also used in motors and transformers. The PVC is self-extinguishing and flame retardant according to test method to UL VW-1/CSA FT1. The materials used are lead free (RoHS compliant).
