It captures particles down to 1 micron at 99-percent efficiency. Wash & Reuse You can wash your filter after use and reuse it. WORKSHOP recommends gently rinsing the filter with water and letting it air dry completely before reinstalling for use. Two Size Options This cartridge filter comes in two sizes:WS12045F: Fits 3 - 4.5 gallon WORKSHOP vacs and WS0500VAWS22200F: Fits 5 - 20 gallon WORKSHOP vacs, except WS0500VA Time To Change Your Filter? With use, your filter may become clogged with dirt and debris, and your vacuum performance and airflow may suffer. To get optimal performance out of your vac, WORKSHOP recommends replacing the filter at least twice a year with average use. Dry Debris or Wet Spills? A filter should always be used when picking up wet or dry messes. You don't always need a wet application filter when picking up small amounts of liquids. However, we highly recommend using a wet filter for picking up larger amounts of liquid. Step 1:Push down on the Qwik Lock stud and lift the pliable filter tabs to remove the dirty filter.Step 2:Slide the new or cleaned filter back on the filter cage.Step 3:Push the flexible cap down to lock the filter in the stud and secure the new or cleaned filter in place.
