The BAND-IT C13599 VALU-STRAP band is a 100-ft. roll of stainless steel strapping that can be cut into straps to mount small signs, hang decorations, or secure cables, wires, or other materials. The banding is made of 200 or 300 series stainless steel, which is resistant to rust and corrosion. The 0.015" thickness is thin enough to allow the strapping to be bent snugly around the object. The strapping measures 100 ft. long, 5/8" wide, and 0.015" thick, weighs 3.6 lb., and has an average breaking strength of 750 lb. (Breaking strength is the greatest stress the strap can withstand without rupturing.)Pallet strappers, also known as strapping machines and banding machines, are used to bundle loads with straps to secure them for storage or transport. Pallet strappers are typically fitted with a roll of strapping, and they can be semiautomatic for low to medium use or fully automatic for high-volume applications, such as at postal facilities or shipping companies.
