The perfect choice for the HVAC technician Measure a complete range of electrical parameters Perfect for HVAC Applications The AM-560 Commercial HVAC Digital Multimeter is the perfect choice for the HVAC technician. It measures a complete range of electrical parameters for HVAC applications with dual thermocouples for taking differential temperature measurements, low pass filter for variable frequency drives, capacitance for motor startups or run capacitors, and microamps for flame sensors. Feature-Rich Digital Multimeter The Amprobe AM-560 Commercial HVAC Digital Multimeter (also known as a multitester) measures AC/DC voltage to 1,000V, AC/DC current from 600A to 10A, frequency range of 60Hz to 60 MHz, resistance from 60 to 60 M, capacitance 60nF to 60 mF, and temperature from -40F to 1832F (-40C to 1000C). It performs audible continuity tests and diode tests. Dual thermocouples allow for differential temperature measurements such as simultaneous temperature readings on the low and high side of an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system. A low-pass filter allows users to read voltage and frequency on variable frequency drives. Built-in safety features include the low impedance mode and non-contact voltage detection, which verify the presence of voltage and stray voltage. This meter is manual and auto-ranging for user flexibility and a duty cycle indicates the percentage of time a signal is above or below the trigger level during one cycle. The meter has a data hold and a peak hold for specialized signal measurements as well as Max/min memory and a relative reading to take the difference between two measurements. The 6,000-count, dual function display is backlit for readability in low-light conditions and an on-screen analog bar graph detects noise. It provides a warning against improper test lead connections as well as a low battery warning. This meter meets safety standards for Category III to 1,000V and Category IV to 600V. It has a built-in flashlight, a rubber tilt stand, built-in test lead storage, and a test lead holder. Whats In the Box?
