Product Description

The PURELL 1305-D1 2-Piece LTX-7 advanced instant hand sanitizer foam refill dispenser kit includes the PURELL 1328-04 LTX-7 electronic touch-free dispenser and a 700 mL refill bottle of PURELL 1305-03 advanced instant hand sanitizer foam. The brushed chrome and black electronic dispenser reduces the risk of pathogen transmission by eliminating a shared touch surface and requires no batteries for operation. The dispenser controls portions dispensed to help reduce waste, has a clear window on the front to show the fill level, and can be locked to help improve security. It has a compact size to accommodate installation in smaller spaces. The dispenser accepts 700 mL refills of gel or foam designed for LTX-7 dispensers. The included 700 mL refill of PURELL 1305-03 advanced instant hand sanitizer foam is an antimicrobial nonaerosol foam that contains 70% ethyl alcohol to help reduce the number of germs on hands, and four moisturizers to help keep skin hydrated. Foam stays on hands during use better than gel. This hand sanitizer meets U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) healthcare personnel hand-washing requirements, as described in the 1994 FDA Tentative Final Monograph for OTC Healthcare Antiseptic Drug Products. The refill bottle is made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), also known as PETE, which is free of BPA (Bisphenol A) for consumer safety and has a "1" recycling code. The refill bottle is clear to show the current fill level, and it comes with a fresh dispensing valve to help reduce potential germ exposure and a removable pump to allow bottle recycling. The PURELL LTX-7 dispenser is ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)-compliant to help facilities meet federal law. For installation onto smooth surfaces, installation tape on the back of the dispenser is included, while four mounting holes are provided for installation onto rough surfaces (mounting hardware not included). It measures 8.5 x 5.75 x 4 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) Hand sanitizers (also called hand antiseptics) are liquids, gels, or foams that help reduce the number of germs on hands when a small amount is rubbed into the skin; no rinsing with water or drying with towels is needed. Hand sanitizers can quickly reduce the number of germs on hands, but do not eliminate every kind of pathogenic microorganism. Hand sanitizers are not as effective when hands are visibly dirty. They are available in a range of sizes, from small bottles for personal use to large mounted dispensers for public or institutional use. They are also available as wipes: small, disposable paper or nonwoven towels soaked in a hand sanitizer liquid. Hand sanitizers are typically part of hand hygiene programs at health care and food processing facilities, where pathogenic microorganisms are common. GOJO Industries manufactures hygiene products, including hand washing, hand sanitizing, and skin care formulas under the GOJO, PURELL, PROVON, MICRELL, and AQUELL brands. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Akron, OH. What's in the Box?
