Product Description

This Eaton Weatherhead 3152X12 brass head plug is a pipe fitting with a hexagonal head and 3/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) male threads for closing and terminating the end of a pipe. It inserts into female pipe and connects with NPT threads for creating a tighter seal than straight threads. It is made of CA-360 brass for resistance to corrosion, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This plug has a hexagonal head for increased leverage during installation and disassembly with a wrench, and has a maximum working pressure of 1200 psi. This fitting is suitable for applications relating to fuel equipment, refrigeration and gas systems.Weatherhead, an Eaton brand, manufactures hydraulic hoses, hose ends, assembly equipment, tube fittings, couplings and support accessories. Boston Weatherhead, purchased by Eaton in 2002, is headquartered in Cleveland, OH.
