Perfect for controlling low-voltage garden lights, decorative lighting, or any other AC-rated lights, the ZANE 4-Wire Low-Voltage AC Dimmer (12V) offers a simple, elegant solution to achieve the ideal brightness level in a cinch. Designed to install in a single-gang box on the low-voltage side of a magnetic step-down transformer, the dimmer facilitates quick setup and precise control of individual fixtures. The knob's smooth yet crisp rotary action gives you enhanced control over the full spectrum, even down to the lowest dim levels. Featuring a unique "pi" trigger circuit, the Low-Voltage AC Dimmer offers no-flicker, full-range brightness control from warm glow through full brightness. Additionally, with triac-based power circuitry and a low-firing point diac, the dimmer reduces heat waste to minimal levels, while maximizing efficiency and brightness. Bugs are not attracted at low settings, and heavy RF noise filtering reduces radio interference to nil-to-none. This dimmer comes ready-to-install with tagged leads, detailed installation instructions, and a wiring harness. Installation into a standard, single-gang box only takes about 10 minutes using common hand tools. The standard switch plate is metal (ivory only) for quality appearance and unmatched durability.
