This classic 18" pink pearl necklace is handcrafted from handpicked naturally pink freshwater pearls. The pearls were selected for their near round shapes, lovely overtones, naturally high luster and hints of rare surface iridescence. We hand select each strand to ensure the most enchanting natural pink color available; HinsonGayle pink pearls are not peach in color but rather an alluring pink with hints of the most desirable lavender overtones. Unlike Akoya saltwater pearls, our premium freshwater pearls are 100% solid nacre pearls and do not have a shell bead inside them; in other words, their near round shapes formed naturally in the shell without the assistance of an inserted bead. The strand is meticulously hand knotted on fine Japanese thread and the necklace is finished with a premium hand-polished 925 sterling silver double-safety clasp. NOTE: At 6.5-7.0mm, these smaller sized genuine cultured freshwater pearls are perfect for girls and women who prefer small pearl necklaces.
