This Dixon D04 brass drain fitting has a 1/4" male National Pipe Taper (NPT) thread and is used to drain fluid in an air or water supply service. Its brass construction provides corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This drain fitting has a 150 pounds per square inch (psi) maximum working pressure at 70 degrees F and is suitable for use as an externally accessible drain in an air or water service application such as in the air storage tank of an air compressor.Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems.
