The 118-degree conventional point drills a center hole, while the two spiral flutes clear chips away to prevent clogging. High-speed steel (HSS) provides hardness for wear resistance, and the uncoated finish has no additional surface treatment or coating. The tool is double-ended to provide two cutting ends.
