The Wej-It WDL12 internally threaded drop-in anchor with lip is zinc-plated carbon steel, provides a secure hold within solid masonry and solid uncracked concrete, and meets GSA FFS-325 Group VIII Type 1 Federal Specifications. The one-piece carbon-steel anchor body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and has a lip that lies flush with the mounting surface, ensuring consistent embedment when installing multiple anchors. The anchor body expands within the drilled hole to secure the anchor in place. When installed, the anchor does not protrude from the drilled hole, enabling flush anchoring of an object to the mounting surface.Once the anchor has been placed into the drilled hole, the setting tool (sold separately) inserts into the threaded portion of the anchor and a hammer or mallet (sold separately) is used to drive the setting tool downward until its shoulder makes contact with the anchor, expanding the anchor within the hole. After the setting tool has been removed, an item can be mounted by inserting a threaded fastener (sold separately) through it and into the anchor.Specifications
