Airflow bumpers feature patented engineering that aids in the prevention of suffocation and re-breathing of carbon dioxide. The four-piece construction offers flexibility and adjustability. The 4 pc bumper includes 2 long panels measuring 10.25"x 52" and 2 short panels measuring 10.25" x 27". Airflow bumpers were designed and developed in conjunction with Dr. William Fox, Division of Neonatology, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Thomas H. Shaffer, Director or Respiratory Physiology, Professor of Physiology and Pediatrics, The Alfred I. DuPont Institute and Intertek. Testing methods were developed to assess the potential suffocation hazards posed by various materials and consumer products. The Intertek test found no suffocation risk related to the airflow bumper.
