Neutralizes virtually all drugs, including narcotics, transdermal patches, and controlled substances. Just add water and toss in the trash. Instructions: Open the pouch at the end with the zip seal. With the bag held upright, carefully add unused medications - up to 10 pills, or up to 2 used hormone patches. Fill the bag about 1/3 full with warm tap water and seal tightly. Dispose of in the normal trash. Warning: Not for use with drugs that are supplied with specific disposal instructions. Do not add sharps. Keep out of reach of children and pets. The deactivation process starts quickly but takes time to complete. Not for use by healthcare facilities for RCRA P, U, OR D listed drugs, which are a small set of medications considered hazardous waste and often provided with specific disposal instructions. Consult local regulations if you have questions. Use only as directed.
