Paula Atherton is the second artist signed to the Kalimba Music label, owned by the legendary founder of Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White. Paula is a veteran Sax player / vocalist and has shared the stage with such contemporary notables as The Rippingtons, Nick Colionne, Chuck Loeb, Cindy Bradley, David Sanborn and Bob James. Paula's 2013 release ENJOY THE RIDE whose first single "Sassy Strut" (featuring Nick Colionne) was on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart for fifteen weeks and reached #15. Performances in 2013 included Capital Jazz Fest, Spaghettini's, Balcones Heights Jazz Fest, Low Country Jazz Fest and Las Vegas Jazz Fest.

The new CD, titled EAR CANDY, offers a unique blend of various genres - a jazzy mix of classic funk, Philly soul and old school R&B. This collection features Paula Atherton on Sax, Flute, and vocals. Special guests include Nick Colionne, Cindy Bradley, and Gail Jhonson.
