The Brennan 90-degree elbow is made of forged steel and has tube and O-ring male boss connectors. This elbow fitting, also called "ell," connects two pipes at a 90-degree angle to change the direction of flow between pipes. It connects to tubing on one end and a male straight thread O-ring boss on the other. This fitting is made of steel for weldability and rust resistance and is forged to increase the material's strength and resistance to mechanical shock and vibration. It is for use with tubing that is flared 37 degrees to provide a tight seal and has an operating temperature range from -63 to 400 degrees F. It is a Joint Industrial Council (JIC) design that meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specification 070220 and military specification 51527 for quality assurance.Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries.
