This Eaton Weatherhead 3326X8 brass close nipple fitting with a hexagonal head and 1/2" National Pipe Taper (NPT) male threads for joining two pipes. A close nipple fitting has no unthreaded area and inserts into female pipe leaving little of the nipple exposed and creating a tight seal. This fitting is made of CA-360 brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel.
