The Purr-ifier replacement filter is for use exclusively with the Purr-ifier Litter Box Odor Control Filtration System. This specially engineered filter contains 2 separate layers to fight litter box odor and dust. The first layer is a carbon embedded polyester that traps the dust that is kicked up when the cat digs in the litter box. This dust contains dried urine, feces and organic matter. The inner, flocked honeycomb layer contains virgin coconut shell carbon and Zolyte to control the odors at the chemical level. Each filter remains effective for 2 months with regular litter box maintenance.
