The Wej-It WDS14 internally threaded drop-in anchor is 303 stainless steel, provides a secure hold within solid masonry and solid uncracked concrete, and meets GSA FFS-325 Group VIII Type 1 Federal Specifications. The one-piece anchor body is made of 303 stainless steel and offers better corrosion resistance than zinc-plated carbon steel. When installed, the anchor does not protrude from the drilled hole, enabling flush anchoring of an object to the mounting surface.Once the anchor has been placed into the drilled hole, the setting tool (sold separately) inserts into the threaded portion of the anchor and a hammer or mallet (sold separately) is used to drive the setting tool downward until its shoulder makes contact with the anchor, expanding the anchor within the hole.
