Merial CERTIFECT 23-44 Lb Dog Flea and Tick Treatment begins killing ticks within six hours, and eliminates them completely within 18 hours. Provide your dog with the type of fast-acting relief he needs and deserves. Features: Kills adult fleas, flea eggs and larvae Intended For: Dogs Includes: 3 Application Viles Health Consideration: Flea and Tick Pet Weight: 23-44 lb Cautions: Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. For external use on dogs and puppies 8 weeks or older. Do not allow children to apply product. Use on dogs ONLY. Do not use on cats, rabbits or other animals. Do not apply more than once per month. Do not contact the treated area until completely dry. Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide. Directions: 1. Holding the pipette away from your face, use scissors to cut the tip off the applicator, exposing both chamber tips. 2. Part the dog;s hair and place the applicator tip directly on the skin. Apply the entire contents in 2 spots on the dog: at the base of the skull and between the shoulder blades where the dog cannot lick. Certifect is applied to a dog;s neck in 2 spots. A process called translocation carries ingredient across the skin and through the hair coat. Translocation can take up to 24 hours to complete. Avoid bathing the dog in the first 24 hours following application. Any scent you may notice after application will disappear in 12 - 24 hours.
