Man Thief? is about a womans desparate attempt to steal the ideal man. The two female characters, Pussilla and Sexylus, are after the same man, Finsac. They are both under the same impression that Finsac, a personification of the government agency, Financial Sector Adjustment Company, is affluent and generous. They are both hoping to reap rich rewards. However, there is much disappointment as Finsac is discovered to be broke and unable to deliver the much anticipated bailout. The play climaxes with an interesting twist as Suck-Suck unexpectedly inherits a fortune. Sexylus seizes the opportunity to steal the man of the moment, who gives in willingly by saying: If you want a man to thiefthief I.?
