The Blohm&Voss BV 222 'Viking' was a large, six-engined German flying boat of World War II. Served mainly in the transport role it became the biggest flying boat class aircraft type to achieve operational status in the war. In 1941 the BV 222 placed into service with the German Luftwaffe, ferrying much-needed supplies across the Mediterranean to Africa Corps forces operating in North Africa. Some thirteen examples were produced. Model packed in blister.
