Born in 1977, the hip-hop artist Kanye West began his career producing for Jay-Z and others, and then branched out - in the early 2000s - to launch his own career, with such EPs as The College Dropout (2004) and Late Registration (2005). Often became known for his stinging wit, his clever lyrics, his "boy next door" feel, and his trademark "stuffed bear" who appears on his album covers and merchandise. The home video release Kanye West: Late Orchestration serves as a companion piece to West's 2006 Mercury EP, Kanye West: Late Orchestration - Live at Abbey Road Studios. Live before a packed house, West covers twelve of his biggest rap hits. Featured the very same numbers from the album, except for "Gold Digger." Tracks include: "Diamonds from Sierra Leone," "Touch the Sky," "Crack Music," "Bring Me Down," and eight more. Also included, as a bonus, are the music videos for: "Diamonds from Sierra Leone," "Gold Digger," "Touch the Sky," and two different videos for "Heard 'em Say," one directed by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind helmer Michel Gondry. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
